Q: Can I buy eco-friendly electrical goods?
A: Whilst all electrical goods contain a variety of toxic and environmentally damaging substances, how they're produced and disposed of can vary widely between manufacturers.  Greenpeace produce a guide to greener electronics, which rank electronic firms according to their policies on toxic chemicals and recycling.  The applet below shows how companies have performed since the guide started in 2006.
